what has the lord created?

As I wake up in the morning to find its a brand new day,

I ask every now and then,

Well what do I say?

My father comes in and I ask,

Dad, its a brand new day,

So what should I say?



He replies with,

Well sweetheart,

Start out with a simple prayer

free to your hearts desire,

Thank the lord that you are here,

Thank the lord and be sincere.



Tell him what you do in life,

Let him fill your heart and mind,

Close your eyes....



and as I close my eyes, I wait to see what he says next.



He says,

Strive to your highest accomplishments let the lord help you.

Let him guide you through the darkest tunnels,

Let him protect you as the night grows and the dark creatures prowl.

Let him be there through thick and thin,

and love you till the end.
